New Music: Girlicious - Friction (Unreleased)

While doing my research on Girlicious member, Chrystina Sayers, I came across a previously recorded and unreleased Girlicous track, titled 'Friction'. According to Chrystinadaily.us the track was leaked by producer, Ruwanga  for the fans to hear. 'Friction' was also slated to appear on their last album,  Rebuilt, but it didn't make the final cut. Check out the sexy track below.

New Music: Chrysie Sayers (Chrystina Of Girlicious) - Alive

Former Girlicious member & former Pussycat Dolls member, Chrystina Sayer (now dubbed Chrysie) has decided to pursue a solo career and put all those Robin Antin groups in the pass. She'd rather be known as Chrysie instead of Chrystina now, which I'm guessing is to start fresh kind of like 2 Chainz changing his name from Tity Boi.

Anyway her first single 'Alive' is a hot electronic dance track, which might get a few appreciative nods but critics will definitely not find it original or unique enough to separate her from every other female singer making electronic-dance-pop music at the moment. Anyway I like it but I'm sure others will quickly dismiss it.

New Music: Teyana Taylor & John Legend - Bliss

I've made it abundantly clear that I'm more of a Pop/R&B music fan, which is why the only track that truly stands out to me on Kanye West's GOOD Music compilation album, Cruel Summer,  is John Legend's and Teyanna Taylor's track 'Bliss', which you can check out below!

New Music: Dawn Richard - 86

Check out Dawn's first single, '86' from her full length debut album GoldenHeart (the first in a 3 part album), which is scheduled for an October 16th release.

The Druski produced track is an emotional and hauntingly beautiful like the majority of Dawn's music.

New Music: Download Lyrica Anderson's Mixtape 'King ME'

Do you like free music? I know I do that's one of the major reasons I started a blog and of course to bitch and complain as well.

Anyway today's free music comes from Timbaland signed artist, Lyrica Anderson who I became familiar with in 2010 when I was searching for Rihanna demos (see 'Fire Drill').

Lyrica has been on the music scene in the back ground as she contributed to such acts as Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato. Now its her time to shine as she steps out to the fore front with her mixtape, King Me. New Music: Carly Rae Jepsen - This Kiss

Canadian singer, Carly Rae Jepsen has released her third single, 'This Kiss' from her much talked about album Sophomore album, Kiss (September 14th 2012).

The track like most of Carly's music is cute and undeniably catchy. Give the 80's-esque track a listen below.

BONUS: Check out Carly's live performance on Ellen's talk show below. I think she did a pretty good job!

As usual Sia avoids appearing on film but there's really no need for her or Guetta to appear in this video, which features a fantastical Scandinavian wolf hunt.

The EP's shares its title with the lead single, which Jane wrote for the Dalai Lama when he visited the U.K. this year.

Music Video: DJ Fresh ft. RaVaughn - The Feeling

British Electronic Producer, DJ Fresh who is responsible for Rita Ora's track 'Hot Right Now' has teamed up with Compound Record singer, RaVaughn Brown for his amazing single, 'The Feeling'. The track is simply amazing and it reminds me of Madonna's hit 'Ray Of Light'.

'The Feeling' will appear on DJ Fresh's third album, Nextlevelism, which is due on October 1st 2012. Check out the official video taped in Tokyo and directed by Ivan Ogilvie below.

New Music: Download RaVaughn Brown - Love Always, The Introduction EP

Singer/songwriter RaVaughn Brown has been around for awhile now. You might remember her as the female vocalist on the demo version of Madonna's track, 'Revolver'.

If I'm correct Ne-Yo has signed RaVaughn to his record label Compound Records so we can expect to hear a studio album in the near future but for now we'll have to make do with her 8 track EP, Love Always, The Introduction.

New Music: Rihanna - Diamonds

Check out RiRi's first Sia penned single 'Diamonds' off of her forthcoming seventh album.

The song is dramatic and powerful like most of Sia's music and I can bet it will be a challenge to perform this live.

I hope her seventh album isn't going to all sound like this song because dare I say, its kind of boring. I want fun and spunky Rihanna and not slow tempo and boring Rihanna.

I guess Rihanna is maturing musically but I'm not ready to grow up with her just yet. I like my Pop music fast and as bad as it sounds I really enjoyed the blatant and bold expression of sexuality and rebellion on Rihanna's last album Talk That Talk. I don't want to have to listen to deep ballads when I pop a Rihanna album into my stereo.  Don't get me wrong Rihanna has made some pretty good ballads and slower paced songs such as 'Final Goodbye', 'Russian Roulette', 'Fire Bomb', 'The Last Song', 'Farewell', and 'Fool In Love' but I don't know why but I'm just not feelin, 'Diamonds'.

Honestly I don't think Rihanna made this song her own either because the track reeks of Sia. This is a perfect example of the writer being more prevalent on the track then the singer. Another good example of this is Christina Aguilera's, M.I.A penned 'Elastic Love'. Anyway check out Rihanna's mediocre new single below.

UPDATE: I finally started feelin' the track! The song debuted on Canadian radio today (Oct 8th 2012) at work and I kind of fell in love with it but I'd still say its puppy love.

New Music: Ke$ha - Die Young

Ke$ha has finally returned with a new track titled 'Die Young' off of her sophomore album, Warrior, which is scheduled for a November 30th release.

Honestly the song isn't anything we haven't heard before when it comes to Ke$ha. 'Die Young' is kind of just there to me and maybe I might grow to really like it but for now my feeling towards the track are pretty unimpressed.

New Music: Lady Gaga - Cake Like Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga strokes her Ego on her self indulgent first rap track, 'Cake Like Lady Gaga', which surprisingly isn't as terrible as you would expect. I'm sure the song was recorded just for the heck (rumour has it that the track is the result of a fan contest) of it and I'd be surprised if she included the track on her forthcoming third album, ARTPOP. Anyway check out the bass heavy cocky track below.

New Music: Unreleased Nicki Minaj Tracks 2012

A slew of new unreleased Nicki Mianj tracks have hit the web today and I'm guessing they are a bunch of unreleased songs from her mixtape days or maybe they weren't hot enough to make the final cut on either of her excellent albums.

I highly doubt it but some of the songs might just appear on Nicki's Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up re-release.

Anyway you might as well check out the tracks now because y'all know they'll be removed from the web soon enough.

Music Video: Blush - All Stars

If you know us at this blog then you know we love ourselves some girl groups and right now I'm liking Asian American group, Blush's cute song 'All Stars'.

The group consist of 5 members and each of them come from a different part of Asia such as, India, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea.

The group was manufactured in 2010 (I've only heard about them a few months ago) by FarWest Entertainment in hopes of achieving success in both Asia and America. I'm not into most Asian girl groups because most of them don't make music in English so I usually just bypass these groups but Blush only performs in English, which is great for people like me. Anyway check out the official and alternative video below.

Artist Promo: Vote For #TeamBaiyu On The CW's "The Next"

If you've been watching The CW Networks new singing contest, 'The Next' or reading this blog, you're probably familiar with singer, Baiyu. Well tonight starting at 9:55 PM you can vote HERE via Facebook (which I don't have) to help Baiyu get to the next level of this singing competition. Unfortunately for me this show doesn't air up on any TV stations I own so if your like me you'll have to watch Baiyu's performance of Fergie's 'Big Girls Don't Cry' on YouTube.

Baiyu has also been covering popular song and making them her own. She's previously covered Melanie Fiona's, '4:00 AM' and Justin Biebers, 'As Long As You Love Me' and now she has covered X-Factor U.S.A judge, Demi Lovato's infectious tune 'Give Your Heart A Break'.

Artist Alert: Introducing Segarra

I was recently sent a email with tones of videos from new/upcoming  musicians and one of those musicians was Weight Records singer Segarra. I'm going to assume that Segarra is the same person as a singer that went by the name CeCe Segarra a few years ago and if so I'm familiar with her songs 'Like Me', 'Damsel In Distress', 'Emergency', and her Gucci Mane assisted 'Go Your Own Way'.

Segarra has  released two new amazing songs/videos this year called,  'All The Boyz' and '5150' featuring Busta Ryhmes. I've heard  the hard urban banger, '5150' before I was even sent the tip via email but her other amazing Dance Pop song 'All The Boyz' is a first for me. Both songs are stellar and addictive examples for there genre and I look forward to see more from this promising act.

BONUS: Check out the first time I ever came across Segarra in 2010 with the release of her debut video 'Go Your Own Way' featuring Gucci Mane.

For more information head over to Segarra's official website http://iamsegarra.com/ or follow her on Twiiter @ _iamsegarra.

Music Video: Nelly Furtado - Parking Lot

Yesterday Nelly Furtado, debuted her new video, 'Parking Lot' off of her fifth English studio album, The Spirit Indestructible, which is in stores now (Sept 18th).

'Parking Lot' is very unique and there is no other Pop musician doing anything like this at the moment but this also makes Nelly Furtado's new album a grower. With me most of the songs were so out of the box that I had to give them more then one listen to get on the same wavelength.

The super fun and glossy looking music video has also warmed my heart to the single a lil'. The video features Nelly and a few bossy chicks stepping out in a parking lot filled with souped up cars with their high beams on.

Music Video: Elle Varner - I Don't Care

Elle Varner's new video is a must see! Its such a touching video that deals with taboo and forbidden relationships such as interacial relationships and same-sex relationships. After watching this video I just can't understand how people could be filled with so much hate when it comes to matters of love. I understand certain relationships aren't smiled upon by certain religious sects and that's their right but why can't they practice their religion and allow others who don't wish to be part of the religion to do as they please. God never put us on this world to judge others!

Hopefully in the future people will be more open but to those who are going through this type of discrimination (racism or homophobia) I commend you for being so brave and open because I know I could never do this if I ever found myself in either of these situations. I just couldn't take the daily ridicule and hate. I understand why so many have just given up! I  can only imagine the sheer loneliness of being hated by so many because of your skin colour or sexual orientation. I admire and envy how strong individuals can be facing adversity because I don't think I could ever have that strength.

Anyway I just got lost in the music and the video so disregard my babbling and check out the video below.

New Music: Drake ft. Dawn Richard - Where Were You

Drake teams up with, Dawn Richard's for his new song, 'Where Were You'.

Its a typical atmospheric dreamy track that I tend to associate with Drake and its a pretty good song but I would have liked to hear more of Dawn's vocals and less rap from Drake. Anyway check the track out below.

New Music: Ciara - Sophomore

Check out CiCi's super sexy Soundz produced track, 'Sophomore', which was leaked by DJ Orator off of Soundz forthcoming mixtape.

The song is super confident and its exudes sexuality from the beat all the way to Ciara's vocals.

Honestly this is the best song Ciara has released during her One Woman Army campaign and unfortunately it won't even appear on the upcoming project.

New Music: Rita Ora ft. Will.i.am - Fall In Love

I just thought I'd share Rita Ora's song, 'Fall In Love', which is a personal favourite of mine from her debut album ORA. The track is a smooth electronic house pop hit, which places Rita's stellar vocals over French DJ, Alex Gophers song and instrumental 'Handguns (Dada Life Remix)'.  The song completes its awesomeness with  a feature from Will.I.Am who has been releasing some pretty good material recently.

New Music: Carly Rae Jepsen - I Know You Have A Girlfriend

Can you believe that Canadian singer, Carly Rae Jepsen is 26 years old! She looks like a nineteen year old to me.

Anyway lets talk about the relevant stuff, which is the release of her highly anticipated sophomore studio album, Kiss (September 14th 2012).

The album has already spawned two major hits via 'Call Me Maybe' & 'Good Time' and I'm sure she'll have many more hits since the album is irresistibly catchy.

Based on what I've heard the album seems to be a menagerie of sugary sweet radio friendly Pop hits such as her infectious, 'I Know You Have A Girlfriend', which you can check out below.

New Music: Christina Aguilera - Your Body (Clean Version)

I finally found a way of posting Christina Aguilera's new comeback track 'Your Body' on this blog with out having the copyright hounds on my case!

Anyway this is the clean version of 'Your Body' (via iHeart Radio) and "love" is switched for a more explicit word on the dirty version. I must say I prefer the dirty version, which is only proof the more I get into the music world the more my morals degrade. A few years ago I would have cringed at such vulgarity but now I relish it.

'Your Body' has received mainly positive reviews from all the blog that I usually frequent and why wouldn't it? The song is simply amazing and its very likely that Aggy will receive a top ten hit out of it. Anyway enough of my babbling check out the track right here and now, below.

'Your Body' will appear on Xtina's seventh studio album, Lotus, which is scheduled for November 13th, 2012 release.

Music Video: Leona Lewis - Trouble

British X-Factor winner, Leona Lewis has finally returned with a new song and video called, 'Trouble' from her anticipated third studio album, Glass Heart (October 15th 2012).

Her new song 'Trouble' is a more traditional Leona song compared to her first Glass Heart, offering, 'Collide'. 'Trouble' is a traditional  emotional ballad that we've grown familiar with when listening to much of Leona's music.

I much rather the upbeat and fun, 'Collide', which wasn't such a safe  and typical track. None the less 'Trouble' is great and evokes emotion but both the song and video aren't very surprising.

New Music: Nicki Minaj ft. Cassie - The Boys

So, Nicki Minaj has decided to pull a re-release of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (re-release due in November 2012) out of her huge @$$ and the first offering of the re-release will be Cassie's song 'Money On Love' or "Don't Lose It Tonight', which leaked a few months ago as a demo.

The RedOne produced track was perfect with just Cassie and did not need the mad babbling of a pretend insane asylum escapee.

The track now dubbed "The Boys" now features what seems to be left over/rejected 'Stupid Hoe' verses and we all know how much that song blows.

So what I'm trying to say is this song was way better with just Cassie on the track but now that its Nicki's song its a lil' less hot but I can still jam to it and I honestly still like the song but I just wish Cassie kept it for herself. On the bright side this video is going to be all kinds of fun when and if it gets one.

BONUS: Check out the original and way better, Cassie Ventura demo, 'Money On Love' or "Don't Lose It Tonight'.
